Sheryl Seibel, DVM
Dr Seibel was born and raised in Maryland. Went to the University of Maryland and graduated with a bachelors and a masters in Animal Science with a focus on Dairy Science. Then went on to Tuskeegee University School of Veterinary Medicine to become a licensed veterinarian in 1995! Over the years she has worked small animal practices and emergency medicine while living in Carroll County with her husband Gary and son Matthew. She has bred and raised Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers since 1991. Currently she has three beautiful and sometimes devious Tollers, cats, chickens and goats. Decided to take a chance and opened Seibel Veterinary Services as a mobile practice in 2008 and bought the van that currently visits your home and pets in 2015.
Danette Comer, RVT
Danette went to Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree with an Animal science focus. Became a Registered Veterinary technician in 2002. Has worked general practice as well as Specialty and emergency medicine. She is also certified as an HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Technician) technician. Currently she lives in Keymar with her boyfriend Tony and daughter Makayla on her farm, Empty Pockets Livestock. She has a bunch of cats (her favorites are orange!), and raises beef cattle (primarily Herefords, Shorthorn Plus and Maine Anjou). As soon as she finds a larger farm an Australian Cattle dog will be joining her family (she misses her Dixie very much!) She joined Seibel Veterinary Services in April 2018, but has known Dr Seibel from previous practice. Danette currently works at Seibel Vet part-time.
